Bar table

A bar table offers a place for casual get-togethers for coffee, a snack, or an evening beer. Bar tables are standing tables and therefore higher than normal dining tables, usually between 105 and 115 cm high. A bar table can also be used as a standing desk in a study for working on a laptop or in a hobby room for crafting, and is also a good addition to the kitchen or larger dining rooms if you don't want to dine traditionally at a table, but rather offer a buffet with finger food. At a party, such a higher table is excellent as a dining area for guests, for placing drinks, and as a communicative meeting point.

Bar tables are available with various tabletop sizes and also different base shapes. The smaller tables are practical for a two-person household to quickly enjoy a coffee together. The larger tabletops offer space for several people and can therefore also be used as a dining table with standing room or bar stools – a nice change if you spend all day at a desk anyway and want to stretch your legs a bit.

In the study, bar tables function as standing workstations or are popular meeting points in offices, conference rooms, or kitchenettes for informal meetings and coffee breaks. At trade fairs and events, they offer the opportunity to casually converse with visitors while enjoying a refreshment – whether standing or at the table with bar stools.

There are many different types of bar tables on the market. They can be made from various materials, such as wood, metal, or plastic. The size and shape can also vary. There are round, oval, or rectangular tables and tables with shelves for glasses, bottles, and other utensils for the kitchen or party. By the way, bar tables with solid wood tops and live edges are an absolute eye-catcher – the unique shapes of the top and the table edge make every bar table a highlight.
